I’m excited to start 2018 as a featured new artist at SAM Gallery, part of the Seattle Art Museum. I’ll be showing new panels exploring complexity in the woods. I drew my inspiration from forests in western Washington, viewing their dense botanical growth through lenses of art history and data analysis, two of my passions. I hope you can make it to the show, especially the free public reception on January 11! (which just happened, and it was crowded, and it was a blast.)
Here is some information to get you started on the planning:
SAM Gallery is open when the Museum is open, and is located behind the Shop. They have their own entrance off 1st Avenue if you don’t have time for the museum. But… make time. Andrew Wyeth show runs through January 15.
“New Art, New Artists”, January 10 – February 5, 2018 Patty Haller, Anna Macrae, Tamara English and Jason Gouilard.
You can see the art on SAM Gallery’s website, so cool. Here are my paintings in the inventory (sold paintings are not shown).
