pattyhaller_slider_sal_blogfeature-2Artist Not in Residence, Seattle Artist League, Fall 2016-Winter 2017.  I’ve just completed a most excellent experience as the school’s first artist in residence. (I didn’t actually live there, and thus explains our little pun.) Generous hosts Ruthie V and Lendy Hensley provided space for me to create a twelve foot wide painting, now available at Smith | Vallee Gallery. I also taught a workshop, shared my process and met dozens of people who now form the core of SAL’s art loving community.  The school has moved to 103rd and Aurora, where they offer excellent classes in an inclusive and fun environment. For all skill levels, beginner to professional, highly recommend.
